Hi {{ first name | all }},
Happy New Year and welcome to the Q1 2025 Agency Robotics Company Update.
We exited 2024 with an exceptional foundation to build upon in 2025. Our core team crystallized with the additions of Tucker Moffat, Patrick Dingle, and Eryk Nice, veteran robotics engineers and former colleagues from Kiva Systems. We also successfully closed our funding round, assembling a stellar syndicate of early-stage VCs and strategic angel investors, each bringing deep expertise in robotics, supply chains, or both.
If 2024 was our year of preparation, 2025 will be our year of building. I couldn’t be more excited to engage with customers, build with engineers, and play with robots.

Our Mission
To optimize the movement of goods and make supply chains more friendly to humans.
Introducing the Core Team
Early in my career, I was privileged to join Kiva Systems–the pioneering company in warehouse robotics that now powers much of Amazon’s fulfillment. Today, I am thrilled to be launching Agency surrounded by many of the brilliant minds that built Kiva:
Tucker Moffat (Product) - With over a decade of experience building robots at Kiva and 6 River and in parcel operations at Veho and Amazon, Tucker is uniquely suited to translate customer challenges into robotic systems.
Patrick Dingle (Robotics) - From designing the first production robot at Kiva in 2004 to consulting with robotics companies like 6 River, Righthand, and Pickle, Patrick knows how to take robots from concept to production.
Eryk Nice (Technical Strategy) - With deep expertise in mobile robots at Kiva, self-driving cars at Motional, and legged robots at Boston Dynamics, Eryk brings a diversity of technical and commercial experience to the team as a consultant.
Funding Secure
We successfully closed our pre-seed round right before the holidays, bringing together an exceptional syndicate led by Founder Collective with participation from Fontinalis Partners, Converge, MVP Ventures, RedBlue, and twenty incredible Angel investors from across the robotics and logistics ecosystem (including nine former Kiva execs and thirteen current or former founders).
This capital gives us the ability to develop robust system prototypes in collaboration with early design partners. Thank you to everyone we spoke with throughout the process—the widespread excitement around our mission was energizing.
Next Steps
As we accelerate into 2025, here is a rough overview of our plans for the next few months:
Customer Discovery - Engage in design collaboration sessions and visit customer sites
Technical Development - Validate key design decisions through simulation, analysis, and early prototyping
Facility Selection - Evaluate mixed-use industrial spaces in Greater Boston
Opportunities to Help
We look forward to engaging with many of you for product feedback on early prototypes. And, of course, customer leads and employee referrals are always welcome.
Holiday Package Tracking
We have new definitive evidence that parcel delivery is booming. At my house this holiday season, we saw 3.5 packages arrive per day or roughly 8x the average daily rate for US households. eCommerce is alive and well.
